I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a Β£1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
